The Clivia ‘Octopus’ is a truly unique and rare form of Clivia, also known as ‘Taiji’.
Unlike ordinary Clivias whose leaves grow symmetrically on both sides, this ‘Octopus’ variety produces all its leaves on one side, making it a fascinating and highly collectible plant.
A few leaves on this Clivia ‘Octopus’ have minor imperfections, but they do not affect the plant’s overall health or growth.
Compared with my other ‘Octopus’ specimens, this one has slightly thinner leaves with a more compressed, less glossy texture. Nevertheless, its form is excellent. All of the leaves naturally lean to one side, giving it a unique and appealing appearance.
